Microdermabrasion Pre- & Post-Treatment Instructions

Day of treatment, patients should:
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods.
• Avoid any activity elevating blood pressure two hours before or after the treatment.

From 5 days before the treatment, Until 5 days after the treatment: Patient should suspend:
• Using Retin-A, Retinol or any product derived from Vitamin A acid.
• Waxing or any other form of hair removal.
• Prolonged sun exposure or use of tanning beds.
• Use of Glycolic, AHA (Alphahydroxy Acids), or any exfoliating products.
• Botox and Collagen injections.

After Treatment:
Expect skin to be slightly pink. The skin may feel tight as if it were exposed to the sun or wind. Proper skin care must be used.

Special note for clients using accutane:
Clients using Accutane Must suspend its use six months prior to treatment.
